Urticaria

URTICARIA

Urticaria, commonly known as hives, is a skin condition characterized by the sudden onset of raised, red, and itchy welts or wheals on the skin. These welts can vary in size and shape and often appear and disappear within a short period. Urticaria is usually caused by an immune system response, resulting in the release of histamine and other chemicals that lead to the characteristic skin rash.
