Vitiligo

VITILIGO

Vitiligo is a skin condition characterized by the loss of pigment in certain areas of the skin, resulting in white or depigmented patches. It occurs when melanocytes, the cells responsible for producing pigment (melanin), are destroyed or stop functioning. Vitiligo can affect people of all skin types, and its exact cause is not fully understood.
